Attention Is an Architectural Material
What we repeatedly notice becomes the world we inhabit.
Attention is not merely something we give. It is an architectural material. It determines which details become vivid, which patterns become believable, and which possible futures receive enough energy to become action.
Two people can occupy the same room and live inside different realities. One notices status, threat, and interruption. The other notices beauty, humor, and openings for connection. Neither sees everything. Each is continuously building a world from selected evidence.
This makes attention a practice of authorship. Notice what you are noticing. Ask whether it deserves to become stronger. Then choose again—not as denial, but as conscious participation in the reality you are creating.
